Historical Perspective
With hundreds of commercials, television shows and major features films to his credit, Ed Engoron broadened his professional career as a producer, director and art director in the entertainment industry to bring excitement and entertainment to the food and foodservice industries.
He co-founded the first of the major U.S. Eater-tainment venues in 1968—The Warehouse Restaurant in Marina del Rey, California—an instant success. Companies from all over the country wanted assistance to duplicate this success. From these roots Perspectives/The Consulting Group was born. Perspectives grew in parallel as the company’s restaurant division opened over 350 restaurants across the country.
Today Ed Engoron, Joan Vieweger, the leadership and staff of Perspectives provides their expertise in “everything food” internationally—Asia, Latin America, Europe, Africa, the Mid-East and the United States. From a single recipe for a restaurant to reclaiming the agriculture society of an entire developing nation you can find Perspectives co-workers wherever food and people come together.
